President’s Day Has Been Kidnapped by Ninjas!
February 18, 2008 9:25 amI’m not sure how comfortable I am with the forming trend of me writing my blog post about the very first press release of the day, but I’m personally stoked about the announcement that N+ will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade this week.

If you haven’t already, please check out Metanet’s original N, which is available for free and which is essentially the standard for all Flash-based games, as well as all games brave enough to address a ninja’s insatiable lust for gold. I’ll be curious to see how significant the new content and features in N+ will be, particularly when you consider the difference between a game that’s $10 on Xbox Live Arcade and a game that’s absolutely free on the PC.
Then again, N is so goddamn good, I almost feel like the $10 I’ll spend for N+ will be retroactively paying for good times had previously.
APROPOS OF NOTHING: I hear the requests for an iTunes feed for the podcast, and rest assured it’s being worked on. Last night was my first experience publishing a podcast, so I’m still soaking up a lot of information about the process.

This game does look quite good and I always enjoyed it online so I think I will indeed be picking it up.

Who ever made N should pay me $10 for the lost productivity it caused.

For those who want an iTunes feed for the podcast, just do what I did. Click on the Advanced tab in iTunes, and go to ‘Subscribe to Podcast.’ Copy and paste the address for Ryan’s RSS feed, and voila. You’re now subscribed to the podcast via iTunes.

Ryan, if you want help getting your podcast on to iTunes let me know (you can contact me through the gameslaves website). I had a few troubles when I first started doing the GameSlaves Radio podcast but I’m pretty sure I’ve got the hang of it now. If nothing else I can hook you up with the basic RSS info that you could plug your own information into and then you just have iTunes point to that. If I’m already confusing you contact me and I can get into more detail.
For everyone else, you can do what Brian (DrFish62) said. That’s a good way for all of you to get the feed but it doesn’t get Ryan’s podcast into the iTunes store.

I just tried N, and I have to say, I’m impressed. It’s tricky, but I think I’ll be able to work well with a controller. So now I have two games to look for on the Marketplace; that and the Penny Arcade game.

As a big fan of the flash version of this game, buying this was a total no brainer.
I dont know if you have it yet, but i had the game less than 2 hours and i got an acheivment for 1000 deaths. If it was any other game i would be ashamed

yeah I bought it this morning and played through the first 9 episodes + tutorial. Seems to be a solid game and plays pretty similar to the PC freeware version. I can’t wait to try out the multi-player and map maker later.
