March 5th, 2008 at 3:26 pm
another good flavor is YOUR MOMAGRANATE!
March 5th, 2008 at 3:27 pm
gah. If only I could edit my comments so I could not clutter the comment board. I agree about the Van Halen game. Any game built around a band is not a smart thing.
March 5th, 2008 at 3:41 pm
All hail the return of Sir Laughalot’s Giggle Galleon…..the internets…is fun again!
March 5th, 2008 at 4:07 pm
As far as beverage talk goes, your show has been a landmark in to my existence. Never before have I thought so long, and carefully about my beverages. NEVER!
Thank you.

As far as beverage talk goes, your show has been a landmark during my existence. Never before have I thought so long and carefully about my beverages intake.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

awesome podcast … but alex sucks
March 5th, 2008 at 4:39 pm
When I played D&D a girl came and ate a lot of cupcakes. Though not as off-putting as a bare loaf of bread, it definitely stirred up a collective “What the hell” as she didn’t speak for the 3 hours or so we played.
March 5th, 2008 at 4:43 pm
Great Podcast… Loving the Beverage talk…
Heres a beverage for you guy to try if you can get your hands on it… Irn-Bru. It’s a Scottish Soda drink which is bright orange and has a unique taste… they say its “Made in Scotland from Girders”… its awesome. Trust me.
Every American guy I’ve spoke too thinks it’s awful but its huge in Scotland and its totally a taste sensation. I’d love to hear your opinions on it.
So yeah… If you can get your hands on it… Irn-Bru.
March 5th, 2008 at 5:09 pm
Well this makes me want to go find my local Mexican market to find some fruit drinks. I really want to try that cake flavored soda, that sounds delicious. Also props to Jeff for sticking up for Arby’s. I never understood why so many people hate on the place other then the fact that their food is overpriced. I find their food to taste good and that’s all that matters. You should try those onion things they have, with the sauce that comes with them. They are pretty good. Although they totally ripped us all off recently when they changed the 5 for $5.95 menu by switching a regular arby’s roast beef with the melt which has less meat on it. Don’t get me wrong I love cheese but that is still a dirty move on their part. I recommend for a new drinking segment test rip off sodas of name brand sodas vs. their brand counterparts. Such as Sam’s Choice’s Dr. Choice, or Shasta’s (I think) Dr. Thunder, or Braum’s soda simply entitled “Special”. I actually like Braum’s better then regular Dr. Pepper. It has less chemicals and has more of a creamy taste that is quite satisfying. Anyway I think that would be a good idea for a drink segment.
March 5th, 2008 at 5:12 pm
Oh, just realized Braum’s are only in the Midwest, never mind about their soda.
March 5th, 2008 at 5:18 pm

March 5th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
Carl’s Jr is much better than Arby’s. You guys are fools.
March 5th, 2008 at 6:53 pm
Really can’t wait for the big news Jeff kept mentioning near the end. Also I wanted to go get a capt. crunch milkshake right now but there is no Carl’s Jr. within a few states of me. Keep up the good work guys!
March 5th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
Awesome guys

March 5th, 2008 at 6:57 pm

March 5th, 2008 at 10:51 pm
Another good ‘un. Ryan and Jeff have been dropping hints here and there about doing new things, but this is the first solid indication that they’re cooking something up together. Take my enthusiasm and square it.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:12 am

March 6th, 2008 at 4:40 am

Thnx
March 6th, 2008 at 6:05 am
If you guys want to try a mind blowing beverage, try having a root beer milkshake. I had one from Peggy Sue’s Diner in San Jose and it was fantastic.
March 6th, 2008 at 8:04 am
Don’t you think that it’s hypocritical to bash the idea of a Guitar Hero game based around a single band, yet get so jazzed up about being able to download an entire album of songs by one band?
My biggest problem with the idea of GH: Aerosmith is that I’ll get sick of playing the stuff by the same band. I don’t know that I’d want to play 12 songs by The Who anymore than I’d want to play 12 songs by Van Halen.
March 6th, 2008 at 8:11 am
You guys should try to get some Moxie soda’s.
I don’t know if they sell it over there, but for some reason people love it here in Maine.
It tastes like a strange combination of carbonated plant roots, root beer, and ass.
I’d love to hear the reaction to it.
March 6th, 2008 at 8:33 am
“I’m so excited”!! love the saved by the bell reference
March 6th, 2008 at 8:50 am
Lets have the News now, not tomorrow or Saturday but now. I cannot wait to here what it is.
Also bring back Rich Gallup into your new inner circle. Even if it has to be with skype.
March 6th, 2008 at 8:54 am
Just a technical thing. I have been doing recording as a hobby for about 10 years now. To improve the sound quality, could you please use an audio compressor filter to the audio before you release it? (I am not talking about a file compression such as mp3 LAME. I am talking about an audio compressor.) An compressor makes only the loudest peaks of the audio quieter. It makes the loud parts and the quieter parts close together. You can then normalize the audio so that all the voices are at the loudest possible point. If you, Ryan, Jeff, or Alex would like help with getting your audio quality, I’d be glad to help. I’ve been recording and mastering friend’s band for a while now.

March 6th, 2008 at 10:37 am
Inspirational Guys! After 3 podcasts I think youve already proven that everything you touch turns to golf.
If you keep putting them out, I’ll keep listening!
Heres a question for next weeks show:
If you, Jeff & Alex were going to set up your own independent, objective and reliable Video Games information resource – how would you fund it all? Specifically, business costs like renting office space, buying equipment, Paying yourself wages, business trips and such. A purely hypothetical of course.
March 6th, 2008 at 12:16 pm
Great show again guys. Thanks for the cock tease at the end about the new site btw. But at least you didn’t make us wait very long for the surprise.
March 6th, 2008 at 1:47 pm

March 9th, 2008 at 11:50 am
Awsome podcast dudes, keep up the great work.
March 9th, 2008 at 2:47 pm
Alex Navarro’s mic was really, really low this week. That needs to be fixed.
March 10th, 2008 at 6:23 am
Where’s the episode this week !?!??!? I need my fix of softdrink talk !
March 10th, 2008 at 6:41 pm
Great podcast – going to be one of the best I’m sure.
But the volumes were all over the place. I was constantly turning it up to hear Alex who sounded like he was across the room, then turning it way down when Jeff yells.
It was a constant battle to hear the quiet comments and not be deafened by the loud yelling.
Consistant volume is really important.
March 11th, 2008 at 3:40 am
Great show. One comment I can’t hear you. It sounds like the recording equipment is in the next room over and we are eavesdropping. Unless that’s what you were going for then… that’s cool, I guess.
March 11th, 2008 at 7:43 am
Man I have to say I totally miss the great stuff that you guys are doing!!!!!!! Keep doing this type of podcast and I’ll keep listening.
March 16th, 2008 at 5:58 pm
